The spell caster can produce an audial (only) illusion from the selected point of origin.
This spell can be cast in such a way as to duplicate the effect of a ventriloquism spell. This must be declared when cast. If declared, the spell's casting time, spell level, components, range, and duration are as per audible glamer but the spell effect, any saves, and all other attributes are as per ventriloquism. The illusionist version cannot be cast in the same round as any other spell.
Otherwise, the spell can create false sounds emanating from a point in space. The overall volume of these sounds is a function of caster level and caster type—the volume is given in "number of humans talking or shouting".

The caster can perform a simple activity (minor, 1 segment) to adjust the declared illusory sounds during any round. Sounds can include intelligible speech in any language known by the caster. Unless used as ventriloquism above, the speech inflections are generic (and won't sound like a specific individual).
Sounds can be made to seem as if they are moving away, coming closer or staying still.
If cast prior to casting a [phantasm] or [spectral] spell, the caster can maintain the audible glamer, causing it to change sounds matching the visual illusion while concentrating on the [phantasm] or [spectral] spell. This combination makes certain uses of [phantasm] spells more believable.
Saving Throw. Use the rules for disbelieving illusions for non-player creature's likelihood to disbelieve as well as any adjustments. Sonic-only illusions cannot be interacted with.
