This spell will cause the target to do less damage with their attacks. It will also reduce it's ability to perform physical activities.
If targeting a creature in melee, use the Firing into Melee rules.
A creature that makes it's save has dodged the ray. No attack roll by the caster is necessary. If there are others in the path of the ray, and the target made it's save, they must save as well. If firing into melee, the GM will allow random assignment of 25% of the creatures being caught in a line. Once one creature has been struck, the ray dissipates.
A creature hit by the ray will do 50% less damage with physical attacks for the duration of the spell.
A creature hit by the ray will also suffer a -4 penalty to Strength checks or saves (this also removes any bonuses) and has encumbrance weights reduced by 50% (with possible add-on penalties due to encumbrance).
This spell does not stack with itself.
