The spell gives the caster the ability to see invisible creatures or objects in the area of effect.
The caster can see invisible creatures or objects in the area of effect. The area of effect moves with the caster's line of sight, so generally any invisible creatures or objects in front of the caster can be noted.
The caster can see ethereal creatures in the area of effect—these include non-corporeal or out-of-phase creatures.
The caster can see hidden creatures in the area of effect—this includes those hiding in shadows or camouflaged creatures (or similar).
The caster can see nearby astral or extra-dimensional portals allowing sight or access to the area where the caster is located. This includes astral creatures watching the area or the window of a rope trick spell.
Anything that obstructs the caster's line of sight will obstruct their ability to see invisible.
This spell does not require concentration once cast.
The caster can change their facing using a minor action but doing so while in melee range will open the caster to rear attacks. Otherwise, facing is set by last creature attacked by the caster or the creature attacking the caster (whichever occurred most recently).
Material Components. A pinch of talc and powdered silver. The components are consumed in the casting of the spell. Cost/Scarcity. 2 s.p. /Common.
