Components V, S
Casting Time 2 segments
Range 30-ft.
Area of Effect Up to 4 creatures in a 20-ft. by 20-ft. area
Duration Permanent
Save (Modified) Wisdom save vs. Spell (save negates)
The spell causes the targets to forget the events of the preceding minute or minutes.
When cast, the caster can choose up to 4 creatures in the area of effect as targets of the spell.
If a target fails it's save, it will forget the events of the previous round.
For every three caster levels, another round will be forgotten—3rd: 2 rounds; 6th: 3 rounds; 9th: 4 rounds; 12th: 5 rounds; 15th: 6 rounds; 18th: 6 rounds.
If a target is in a combat situation, the target is also stunned for 1 round.
Saving Throw. If the caster targets a single creature, the save is at a -2 penalty. If targeting 2 creatures, the save is at a -1 penalty. Otherwise, the save has no adjustment.
Duration. The spell is permanent unless "cured" using a restoration spell, a heal spell, or wish-type magic. The dweomer will fade such that it is undetectable by detection spells after 7 days.
Limitations
A target under the influence of a suggestion spell will still seek to complete the task—unconsciously knowing what they must do.
A target under the influence of a quest or geas spell may forget it was cast on them (which is dangerous as they will suffer negative consequences if not acting to fulfill the compulsion).
Otherwise, other mind affecting magic, including charms, will not be affected (although the target may forget how they obtained the effect).
