This spell will cause reptiles, especially snakes, to be fascinated.
Creatures with the ophidan sub-type have no save versus this spell. Other reptiles are granted a saving throw to negate the magic.
Duration. The duration of the spell is a function of the creature's initial attitude: Inactive/torpid: 1d4+2 x10 rounds; Active but not hostile/aroused/angry: 1d3 x10 rounds; Hostile/aroused/angry/attacking: 1d4+4 rounds.
Limitations
The spell can only affect a number of reptiles whose total hit points are equal to or less than the spell caster's.
Damage of any kind to a creature affected will break the spell effect for that creature.
