Each round, this spell will allow the caster to detect and know the general location of any one trap in the area of effect.
Detect Traps. [innate] (minor) The caster can turn and detect any single trap in the area of effect. Only the presence of a trap is noted, not its nature, specific location, or trigger. If the trap is magical in nature, the caster will have a 10% per caster level of knowing the school of magic involved (abjuration, evocation, etc.).
Limitations
The GM must determine the definition of a "trap". For example, a door handle smeared with contact poison will be a trap as will a poison needle in a lock. However, a patch of green slime or piercer will not register. Likewise, natural hazards will not normally register (weak ceilings, sinkholes, etc.) unless specifically setup to trap the unwary.
Once one trap is detected, the caster must declare their intent to continue to check the area to find more traps, should more than one trap exist in the area.
