All affected creatures in the burst will have an emotion imprinted upon them chosen by the caster.
When the spell is cast, the caster must select from one of the following emotions.
All willing creatures in the area of effect will be affected by the emotion and unwilling creatures must save as described.
The spell effect lasts until dispelled or until the caster ceases concentration on the effect.
Fear. [fear] All creatures in the area of effect must make a -2 Wisdom save vs. Spell or become panicked (save negates).
Hate. All creatures in the area of effect are consumed by hate of their opponents. This grants a +2 bonus to attack rolls, damage, and saves. Morale is made better by 20%.
Hopelessness. All creatures in the area of effect must make a Wisdom save vs. Spell or either surrender (if in combat) or leave the area without hostilities (if no combat situation exists). A successful save negates the effect.
Rage. All creatures in the area of effect must make a Wisdom save vs. Spell or become enraged (save negates).
Counter Effects. If under the effect of an emotion spell or similar effect, the emotion spell will dispel the opposing effect (with the creature left unaffected by either effect going forward):
Fear counters Rage.
Rage counters Fear.
Hate counters Hoplessness.
Hopelessness counters Hate.
If the effect to be countered is permanent and cannot be dispelled, the effect is instead suppressed while the caster concentrates. Racial attributes (ex. hatred) are unaffected by the emotion spell.
