Save vs. Spell (save negates)
When the target of the spell speaks, the caster can determine whether they believe their words to be true or not.
The caster casts the spell and selects a target within range.
The target is granted a save vs. Spell or the spell is negated.
Whether the save is made or not, the target will know a spell has been cast at it (through a tingling sensation). It does not know what the effect was or whether the save was made or not.
When the target of the spell speaks, the caster can determine whether they (the target) believe their words to be true or not. Thus, unintentional falsehoods could appear to be true (relative to the target's belief).
A half-truth, i.e. incomplete information provided, will not register as a falsehood.
Once the spell is cast, the GM will begin a timer and at the end of the time (rounds = minutes), the spell ends. The target can, of course, be evasive or spend time on tangents.
Material Components. A pouch worth (1-lb.) of gold dust. The component is consumed in the casting of the spell. Cost/Scarcity. 50 g.p./Common.
Known Substitutions. None.

Save vs. Spell (save negates)
The target will find anything the caster says to be reasonable and factual.
The caster casts the spell and selects a target within range.
If the target is under the effect of a detect lie, the effect is ended immediately and the undetectable lie spell ends immediately.
If not, the target is granted a save vs. Spell or the spell is negated.
Whether the save is made or not, the target will know a spell has been cast at it (through a tingling sensation). It does not know what the effect was or whether the save was made or not.
If the save was unsuccessful, the target will find anything the caster says to be reasonable and factual.
This is not a charm effect and the target is under no compulsion to act, although it will react as if the information gained was given from a trusted source. This does not mean that wild accusations will not be verified through another source. If the caster is deemed an enemy, the target will believe the caster has given up information believed to be true, but may still wish to verify it. The information may cause the target to let down their guard or divulge information (the GM may allow Wisdom checks for high Wisdom score [only] or the like, at a high difficulty).
Material Components. A pouch worth (1-lb.) of brass dust. The component is consumed in the casting of the spell. Cost/Scarcity. 5 g.p./Common.
Known Substitutions. None.
