This spell will stop the spread of an ongoing disease in the recipient and will begin the process of recovery.
The caster casts the spell and touches the recipient.
If the recipient is afflicted with a disease (of any type), after 10 rounds:
Their disease will drop by one severity category.
If the disease was mild, the afflicted individual will become fully recovered with no conditional effects.
Any non-permanent ability score loss will recover by 1 point per ability score.
Any exhaustion becomes fatigue.
No matter the severity of the disease, at the end of the next disease period, the afflicted individual will be recovered.
During this time period, non-permanent ability score loss will recover by 1 point per ability score per day (without a rest requirement).
Any full bed rest of 24 hours will remove the fatigued condition.
The spell can also kill certain hazardous parasites and stop an infestation. Examples are green slime, certain mold infestations or rot grub infestation.
A spell caster using the spell to touch such parasites or their host cannot contract an infestation.

Save vs. Spell (save negates)
This spell will inflict the target with a debilitating disease.
The caster casts the spell and touches the target using a contact attack.
If successful, the target must make a save vs. Spell or become afflicted with a debilitating disease (roll for type, but the effects are as follows).
After an onset time of 1d6 x10 rounds, the afflicted individual loses 1 hit point (from the creature's maximum hit points) per 10 rounds and 1 point of Strength per hour until achieving a Strength score of 3 and maximum hit points of 1 hit point.
No disease saves (after the save versus Spell) are allowed.
The GM will describe the physical symptoms (graphically) based on the disease type.
The effects of this spell can be cured by a cure disease spell—hit points and Strength score points return at a rate of 1 each per 10 rounds.
A dispel magic effect will not have any effect on the disease after the spell is cast.
