Area of Effect One flame or 5-ft. radius area
Duration 2 rounds per caster level (D) or 2 rounds

The caster creates a torch-like flame in their hand that can be thrown.
The caster casts the spell and one hand is limned in flame. The light is equal to that of a torch. The flame does no harm to the caster.
If the caster holds a weapon in that hand (or uses the limb as a natural weapon), the weapon is limned in flame and will do an additional 1d6 fire damage anytime it hits. The weapon is unharmed by the flame.
If the caster touches combustible materials, these must make a save vs. Normal Fire or be destroyed (lighting and burning).
If the caster holds onto items made of flammable materials for one round (treat as a complex action), these must make a save vs. Normal Fire or they will catch fire (becoming broken or destroyed, per the GM). Each round the object is held requires another save.
Anytime before the spell ends, the caster can throw the flame up to 40-ft. at a section of ground. No attack roll is necessary. The flame is gone from the caster's hand.
All creatures in a 5-ft. radius will take 2d6 fire damage (no save) on the round the flame is thrown. Any creatures remaining in the area in the succeeding round will take 1d6 fire damage. The flame then goes out (spell ends). The fire is treated as a burning flask of oil in terms of objects catching fire.
