This spell will enchant four stones which can be used as weapons.
The spell caster can enchant up to four stones.
The enchanted stones are treated as +1 weapons and can be thrown with range categories of 30-ft./50-ft./70-ft. and a fire rate up to 2 stones per round if thrown by hand. The stones can also be thrown using a sling (using the sling range categories). The stones ignore armor defense. The stones do 1d8 damage each plus the magic bonus.
For every 3 caster levels, 3rd, 6th, 9th, and 12th, the stones gain another +1 in terms of magic enhancement.
A larger stone (boulder) can be the target of this spell, but only 2 such weapons can be created (and the fire rate drops to 1). Boulders do 2d8 damage (or the typical amount if thrown by a giant or similar creature) plus the magic bonus and have a range of 60-ft. (or the typical range for boulder throwing creatures). Only Large-sized creatures can throw boulders. Boulders are treated as seige-type weapons and ignore armor defense.
A stone that strikes a target will be destroyed.
Material Component. The material component is the stones. Any sort of stone can be used. If a gem is used, it gains a bonus to attack equal to +1 per 500 gp in value. Cost/Scarcity. Free/Common (for typical stones).
