This spell removes one curse effect affecting a creature.
This spell is typically cast upon a creature under the effect of a magical curse. The spell will (unless otherwise described in the specific curse) free the creature from the curse. If the curse is due to a cursed magical item, the item will be magically drop to the ground (if carried or worn). If the item was left somewhere else, but the curse is active, the item will remain there.
If the recipient of the spell does not want the curse to be lifted (see the description of the item/curse), the caster must either attack (using a contact attack and this grants the afflicted a saving throw) or trick the recipient into accepting the spell (as if a cure spell or the like; and if a like spell caster, they will still resist the spell, granting a save).
Typically, cursed items must be destroyed as normal for any other magic item (destroying the item).

The spell inflicts those affected with a random curse.
The curse will be determined randomly:
01-50—Lowers a random ability score to 3.
51-75—Inflicts a -4 penalty to attack rolls and saving throws.
76-00—The target is dazed and all items held are dropped.
A spell caster can use spell research rules (see The Magic-user) to create unique curses added to the table (thereafter) upon a successful check.
