The recipient is immune to the damaging effects of mundane or natural lightning or electricity.
All gear carried or worn by the recipient is likewise protected.
All side-effects of electricity are likewise protected against (heat, noise, light, etc.).
If the recipient is the caster. The recipient gains a +4 bonus to saving throws involving magical or supernatural electricity. Any damage incurred will be absorbed by the spell for up to 12 points of damage per caster level.
If the recipient is another creature. The recipient gains a +4 bonus to saving throws involving magical or supernatural electricity. Any damage incurred is reduced by half. If the wearer misses a save versus an electricity effect, the wearer's equipment will not be required to make saving throws unless the save was a natural 1 (per the GM, certain situations will destroy equipment regardless of the save).
All side-effects of magical or supernatural electricity are likewise protected against (heat, noise, light, etc.).
