Countries of the United Kingdom
The official name of the country is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland or the UK. The UK consists of four parts: England, Scotland, Wales and a part of Ireland. England is the largest and the richest country of Great Britain. The capital of England is London. Scotland is the country in the north of Great Britain. The capital of Scotland is Edinburgh. Wales is the country in the west of Great Britain. Cardiff was chosen as the capital of Wales. The capital of Northern Ireland is Belfast.
As you know the symbol of England is rose, the symbol of Scotland is thistle, the symbol of Wales is daffodil and the symbol of Northern Ireland is shamrock. This country attracts a lot of tourists because it is very beautiful and interesting.
