Livingston were called Meadowbank Thistle up to and including the 1994/95-season. Airdrieonians previously Airdrie United. 1925/26: 25 games were left unplayed. Galston, for example, played only 15 games out of a stipulated  30 and withdrew at the halfway stage. The other teams number of games  varies from 25 to 30. The reason was financial difficulties for many clubs. This was the last season that  the third level existed before it was restructured after World War II. This season is NOT counted in the alltimetable. 1994/95: Meadowbank Thistle had three points deducted because they fielded an ineligible player. 1999/2000: Hamilton Academical had 15 points deducted for failing to fulfill the away fixture to  Stenhousemuir. 2019/20: The season was halted in March 2020 due to Covid-19 pandemic. The standings at the time was later declared final.   The third level counted here has been one group each season and has had regular promotion and/or relegation from/to it.
