NB: As can be seen above the struggle for the promotion spot was thrilling. IFK Malmö and GAIS met in Malmö and GAIS won 1-0, but the game between Örgryte and Grimsås was delayed about 7 minutes. The GAIS players thought they had the promotion spot in hand when their game ended as Örgryte only so far had been able to draw with Grimsås. But in the last minute of the game between Örgryte and Grimsås Örgryte were awarded a penalty, which was struck home. Örgryte won the game and managed to come before GAIS on more goals scored, as the teams respective goal differences were the same (+13)!
