The table has been assembled using material contributed by the RSSSF, Miguel Teixeira and Wikipedia. You are free to copy this document in non-commercial circumstances but please state the source, i.e. Clas Glenning. The table was completely overhauled and corrected in August 2020.

Notes: 2007/08: FC Porto had six points deducted, União de Leiria had 3 points deducted and Boavista was relegated (but had no points deducted) because of a corruption scandal during the 2003/04- season. 2007/08: Belenenses had three points deducted for using an ineligible player in round 16.
