NORWAY 1st level alltimetable 1961/62 - 2023

Norway introduced a first division with only one group in 1961/62. The table has been assembled using material mainly contributed by Lars Aarhus and his excellent website on Norwegian football. A huge thank you goes to Lars without whom I could not possibly have constructed the table. You are free to copy this document in a non-commercial capacity but please state the source. * = Indicates that points have been deducted; see the notes after the table. The table was corrected and amended in October 2016. .

General notes

1963: From this season on: spring-autumn system of play. 1995: Vålerenga had two points deducted. 2012: Odd Grenland had one point deducted for financial issues. 2015: Lillestrøm had one point deducted for financial irregularities.

Notes on namechanges

Vålerenga have also played under the name VIF Fotball. FC Lyn Oslo have also played under names SoFK Lyn and FK Lyn. Odds BK have also played under the name Odd Grenland. Note that Sandefjord Fotball and Sandefjord BK not are the same team. The first mentioned is a merger between SBK and IL Runar. Sandnes-Ulf is a merger of Ulf-Sandnes and Sandnes FK.
