1949/50: The result of the match Hapoel Petah Tikva vs. Beitar Tel Aviv (2–3) was annulled and  no points were awarded. 1950/51 and 1952/53: Season not played through. 1962/63: No points or goals were awarded for the Maccabi Petah Tikva vs. Maccabi Jaffa game due to suspicions of bribery in the match, which ended 3-1. 1966/67 and 1967/68: These seasons were played as one. 1978/79: Hapoel Rishon LeZion had two points deducted. 1988/89: Hapoel Jerusalem had one point deducted, Maccabi Haifa, Hapoel Petah Tikva, Maccabi Tel Aviv and Tsafririm Holon each had two points deducted.  Hapoel Tel Aviv had four points deducted. All points were withdrawn because of budget violations. 1997/98: Hapoel Ashkelon had two points deducted. 1999/2000: Maccabi Tel Aviv had four points deducted. 2000/01: Beitar Jerusalem had one point deducted for budget violations. 2002/03: Hapoel Kfar Saba had three points deducted for budget violations. 2003/04: Maccabi Ahi Nazareth had three points deducted for budget violations. 2006/07: Hapoel Tel Aviv had two points deducted for double contracts. Hapoel Petah Tikva had three points deducted for financial irregularities. 2008/09: Beitar Jerusalem had three points deducted. 2010/11: Hapoel Ramat Gan had four points deducted. Beitar Jerusalem had one point deducted. 2011/12: Hapoel Tel-Aviv had three points deducted for crowd trouble, Bnei Sakhnin had two points deducted for double contracts, Hapoel Petah Tikva  had nine points deducted for going into administration, Beitar Jerusalem had two points deducted for racist taunts from the crowd and Maccabi Petah  Tikva had three points deducted for staff violence vs. player from opposing team. 2014/15: Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv each had two points deducted. Beitar Jerusalem had one point deducted. 2015/16: Beitar Jerusalem had two points deducted. 2016/17: Hapoel Tel Aviv had nine points deducted. 2017/18: Hapoel Ironi Acre had two points deducted.   Hakoah Amidar Ramat Gan = (Shortlived) merger of Maccabi Ramat Amidar & Hakoah Maccabi Ramat Gan. MS Ashdod = merger of Maccabi Ironi Ashdod & Hapoel Ashdod. Hapoel Nir Ramat HaSharin prev. Hapoel Ironi Nir Ramat HaSharon. Ironi Kiryat Shmona prev. Hapoel Ironi Kiryat Shmona.  Hapoel means ”the worker” in hebrew. Ir is an israeli sports association established in 1926. Maccabi, named after the Maccabees, is a Jewish worldwide sports organisation established in 1921. Beitar is named after a Zionist movement established in 1923.
