1924-25

ALLSVENSKAN (1st level) 1924/25

The season 1924/25 was the first season which featured the first unified 1st  level in Sweden, the so called Allsvenskan. However, the 2nd level was  unofficial from the season 1924/25 up to and including the 1927/28 season.  1928/29 the second level was reorganized into two groups and was declared  official from that season on. But, regular promotion to and from the unofficial 2nd level was in effect, with one exception, the Uppsvenska group had no right to participate in the promotion playoffs to Allsvenskan, probably because of  financial reasons and the fact that most of the northern part of Sweden was not  represented in the series. Relegation from the Uppsvenska group was in effect  during the unofficial years though. Note that 3rd level was not fully organized until the 1928/29-season, although promotion from it occured before that.

Top goalscorer: Filip Johansson of IFK Göteborg 39 goals - still record for Allsvenskan.
