An official 2nd level was in force starting 1928/29, the ones in operation 1924/25-27/28 were unofficial and therefore not counted here. This table was  corrected in January 2017. You are free to copy this document in a non-commercial capacity, but please state the source, i.e. Clas Glenning.

1957/58: This season was played over 1½ years as the play was changed from autumn-spring to the calenderyear. 1973: The game IFK Luleå vs. IFK Sundsvall was never played because of bad weather conditions affecting the pitch. 1991 & 92: Note that the Kvalettan series are counted on the 3rd level alltimetable. 1997: Vasalunds IF had seven games set to 0-3 defeats for use of an inelligible player.  FC Trollhättan = merger of Trollhättans IF and Trollhättans FK. FC Väsby United = merger of FC Café Opera/Djursholm and Väsby IK (Upplands-Väsby). Gefle IF/Brynäs = merger of Gefle IF and Brynäs IF. Husqvarna FF = merger of Husqvarna IF and Huskvarna Södra IS. Umeå FC = merger of Sandåkerns SK and Tegs SK. Timrå IK = merger of Wifsta/Östrands IF and Fagerviks GF. Ängelhoms FF = merger of Ängelholms IF and Skörpinge GIF. Örebro FF = shortlived merger of IFK Örebro, Örebro IK and IK Svenske. The city of Hälsingborg changed name to Helsingborg in 1971.
