PERU 1st level alltimetable 1951-2022

Peru instigated professional football in 1951, but it wasn’t until 1966 that teams outside the Lima/Callao metropolitan area were allowed to take part, the so called Decentralized championship. The table is based on facts found on Wikipedia and RSSSF. Thanks to the contributors. You are free to copy this document in a non-commercial capacity, but please state the soure, i.e. Clas Glenning. The table was completely overhauled, expanded and corrected in June 2020.

Notes: All playoffs are counted if they were played as a result of teams having equal number of points and/or were Libertadores playoffs. 1989: Tables from the Regional I tournament are missing for: Central zone, North zone and Oriental zone; 3 out of 4 quarterfinals (only one available is Cienciano vs.  Universitario) and the Defensor vs. Unión Huaral semifinal. 1989: Tables from the Torneo Placido Galindo are missing for: Metropolitan zone final group, North zone, Central zone and Oriental zone. 1989: Tables from the Regional II tournament are missing for: North zone, Central zone and Oriental zone. Also, all playoff from this season is missing. 1990: Tables missing Regional I: Centro & Oriente.
