Thanks to Arno Funck and his excellent site on Luxemburg football for providing the information on which the table is based and to Stephane Biwer for clarifications. You are free to copy this document in a non-commercial capacity but please state the source, i.e Clas Glenning. The table was completely overhauled and corrected in February 2019. The 2019/20-season was halted in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The standings at the time were declared final.

NOTES

1909/10 and 13/14: No complete final tables have been found. 1912/13: No championship played. 1940/41-43/44: No championship played because of WW2. The Luxembourg teams were part of the Gauliga Moselland in Germany. 1. The bonuspoints earned during some seasons by some teams are not counted in the table above,  as they are points earned outside the regular playing. 2. Playoff games deciding the championship or deciding relegation are counted in the table above. Alliance 01 Luxembourg = merger of Aris Bonnevoie and CS Hollerich. Alliance Dudelange = merger of Etoile Rouge 1908 Dudelange and Etoile Bleue Dudelange. Cercle des Sports Echternach = later called Daring Echternach. FC Differdange  03 = merger of Red Boys and AS Differdange. F91 (Dudelange) = merger of Alliance Dudelange, AS Dudelange and Stade Dudelange. FC RM Hamm Benfica = merger of RM'86 Luxembourg and FC Hamm 37. Prev. called FC RM Hamm. FC Rodange 91 = merger of Chiers and Racing Rodange. FC Schifflange 95 = merger of The National Schifflange and Amis des Sports. FC Wiltz 71 = merger of US Niederwiltz and Gold a Ro't Wiltz. Red Black Pfaffenthal prev. FC Pfaffenthal 1909. RFCU Luxembourg = merger Alliance 01, Spora and Union Luxembourg. RFCU = Racing Football Club Union. Spora Luxembourg = merger of SC Luxembourg and RC Luxembourg. Sporting Club Steinfort = merger of Sporting Steinfort and Sporting Club Lissabon Luxemburg. Tricolore Muhlenweg = now Tricolore Gasperich. UN Käerjéng 97 = merger of Jeunesse Hautcharage and FC Bascharage. US Luxembourg = merger of US Hollerich/Bonnevoie and Jeunesse Sportive Verlorenkost.   1910/11: Jeunesse Echternach withdrew after having played two games. These were annulled.  Note: Half a season is only counted if the season were played in two distinct parts and no team was relegated for the season as a whole after the first part. Example: 1987/88 is counted as a whole season even though the season was split in two parts as a team was relegated after the first round. 1988/89 is counted as half a season for each team for each part as no team was relegated after the first round.
