NOTESNote: All Championship-, Libertadores- and Relegation playoffs (the latter only when being played among 1st level teams exclusively) are counted. All franchises that were bought have their new results on the take-over club and the old on the one before the take-over. Example: Torreon was bought by  U. de Guadalajara; they have the results before that on Torreon and the ones after on U. de Guadalajara. 

    NAMECHANGES AND RELOCATIONS Atlante were previously from México City. Pumas U.N.A.M. previously U.N.A.M. Necaxa were previously from México City and also previously called Atlético Espanol. Tigres U.A.N.L. previously U.A.N.L. U.A.G. = Universidad Autonóma de Guadalajara. Jaguares Chiapas previously Irapuato (old, pre 2001/02-season) & Tiburones Rojos (Veracruz), respectively.  Previously from the city of Tuctlla Gutierrez. Jalisco previously Oro de Jalisco. Marte were previously from México City. Colibries Morelos prev. Atlético Celaya. The new(er) Veracruz club is not the same as the old one. They - the nwe(er) - were called La Piedad before.
