The table has been composed from various reliable sources by Clas Glenning. You are free to copy this document in a non-commercial capacity but please mention the source, i.e Clas Glenning. THE TABLE WAS COMPLETELY OVERHAULED AND CORRECTED IN JULY 2018. The 2021/22-season was halted due to the Russian military invasion of Ukraine. The season is counted as it yielded teams for the European Cups based on the standings at the halt.

Note: I am well aware of the fact that Russia have occupied Crimea. However, this has not been ratified by the international community. Therefore is Crimea part of Ukraine on this map.

Championship-placing games 1992 and 2005/06 are also counted in the tables. These were 1992: Tavriya Simferopol - Dynamo Kyiv 1-0 for 1st and 2nd place and Dnipro- Shahktar Donetsk 3-2 for 3rd and 4th place; 2005/06:Dynamo Kyiv - Shahktar Donetsk 1-2 (aet) for 1st and 2nd place.

Zirka Kirovohrad had three points deducted during the 2003/04-season for not paying wages to one of their players. Chornomorets Odesa deducted six points for failing to settle contractual obligations with Bosnian player George Indjic (March 3rd, 2009). Tavriya Simferopol deducted three points for failing to settle contractual obligations during the 2012/13-season. Arsenal, Kyiv withdrew during the 2013/14-season and had all their games stricken. 2014/15: The game Chornomorets Odesa vs. Metalist Kharkiv in the last round of matches wasn't played per recommendation of the Ukrainian Ministry of the Interior. 2014/15: The following teams had points deducted: Volyn Lutsk 9, Karpaty Lviv 9 and Metalurh Donetsk 6. 2015/16: Volyn Lutsk had 18 points and Hoverla had nine points deducted. 2016/17: Karpaty Lviv (6), Volyn Lutsk (6) and Dnipro (24) had points deducted.

NAME CHANGES

Arsenal Kyiv have also been called CSCA-Borysfen Kyiv & CSCA Kyiv, respectively. SK Mykolaiv have also been called Evis, Mykolaiv. FCMariupil have also played under the name Metalurh, & Illichivets, respectively. FC Olexandriya have also been called Polihraftehnika, Olexandriya. Vorskla Poltava previously Vorskla-Naftohaz, Poltava. Zirka, Kropyvnytskyi previously Zirka Kirovohrad. Zorya Luhansk previously Zorya-Mals, Luhansk. Naftovyk-Ukrnafta Ohtyrka previously Naftovyk Ohtyrka. Hoverla Uzhhorod previously Zakarpattya.  The city of Dnipro was called Dnipropetrovsk earlier and the city of Kamianske was called Dniprodzherzhinsk before.
