SWEDEN championship alltimetables

There are three tables below. The first is the three points for a win table for the Swedish first level from 1924/25, "Allsvenskan". The second table is the early  championship deciding cupfinals table 1896-1925, and the third is the alltimetable for the Swedish series 1910-24. The two last ones are counted with two points for a win as  three points for a win was not in effect any time during 1897-1925.  Brief history 1896-1925 the champion was decided through a cup tournament. From 1910 to 1923/24 a championship called "svenska serien" (The Swedish series) was played, from 1924/25 onwards  Allsvenskan. "Svenska serien" was to all intents and purposes the swedish 1st level at the time. But, the winner of "svenska serien" was not declared Swedish champion, they  only won an unofficial title. The champions were decided through the cuptournament mentioned above. Actually, the winner of Allsvenskan was officially (practically from  1925/26) declared champions only from the 1930/31 season and onwards! Very few clubs participated in the early years (in 1897 for example the final was played between Örgryte  IS and their own reserve team, as no other team entered the competition!). It is also important to know that the most northern part of Sweden was not regularly incorporated  into the league system until the 1950:s. Sweden (unlike many other European countries) played regular championships through both world wars. This was possible largely because  the country was not affected by any wartime physical damage on home soil.  The tables (as well as the brief history above) were composed from various reliable sources by Clas Glenning. You are free to copy the tables in non-commercial circumstances  but please state the source, i.e. Clas Glenning.
