Customer Information Screen (Edit and View)
1. Customer Information
From the Profile, click on the Customer Name to view/edit the Customer Information such as name and contact information, merge customers if needed, make changes to how a customer prefers to be contacted overall, or make VIN specific changes.
DealerMine permits users to update customer information on a profile that does not exist in the DMS.
When the customer info is updated on a file that is not in the DMS, the user will be presented with an error "Customer file can not be found on the DMS. Do you want to recreate the customer?" when they click No they will be redirected to the profile screen and the new customer info will display.
When adding/editing a customer’s number in the customer info screen, DealerMine requires the full 10 digit number to Save. If trying to save without the 10 digits users will see this error message. The error message will display which number is incorrect Hone, Work Cell or all 3 as in the screenshot.
