Turn Off Codes

This tab displays all turn off codes.

The Turn off codes are grouped and listed on the left hand side as follows:

1. Contact Method/Types (On/Off) Reasons

2. Inactive Customer Reasons

3. No Longer Owns Vehicle Reasons

Contact Method/Types (On/Off) Reasons

You can add new reason codes by clicking options or inactivate reason codes by unchecking the radio button under the 'Active' column.

  • Contact Method/Types (ON/OFF) Reasons are displayed under the Customer Information screen's tab Contact Methods (Customer Specific) and Contact Types (VIN Specific). The Contact Types entered here are displayed under the drop down Choose Reason.

  • If a user Inactivates a Reason by un-checking the Active check-box. The Reason is no longer displayed on the tab Contact Methods (Customer Specific) or Contact Types (VIN Specific) under the drop down Choose Reason.

Inactive Customer Reason

Inactive codes are used to permanently turn off an entire file for all contact presented on the Call Select screen, regardless of new vehicle purchases.

Inactive customers will not be presented on the Call Select screen for any future contact.

Examples of inactive customers are Rental car agencies, fleet customer, other dealerships or deceased customers.

You can add new reason codes by clicking options or inactivate reason codes by unchecking the radio button under the 'Active' column

  • The Inactive Reasons added here are displayed on the Customer Information screen's tab Customer Information under section Name Information on the drop down for Status. If the user selects the Status drop down and changes the status to Inactive, the Inactive Reason popup is presented. The user must select an Inactive Reason.

  • If a user Inactivates a Reason by clicking in the Active check-box. The Reason is no longer displayed.

No Longer Owns Vehicle Reasons

Does Not Own This Vehicle Reasons cannot be changed or inactivated.

Each time a vehicle is flagged as Does Not Own in the Contact Types (VIN Specific) tab this reason code will be automatically used.

Each user will have the option of entering comments before saving. All reasons and comments can be viewed in Turn Off History.

Any vehicle can be turned back on by simply clicking the X and the green check will appear signifying the vehicle has been turned back on. Turn Off History will also reflect the reversal.
