Fetch Recall Import
To import a Fetch Recall the recalls need to be in a comma delimited (CSV) Excel document.
Creating a Recall Template
To create a recall template you can go to Fetch > Import Management >Templates and Create New Template
OR
when importing the file select Create New Template
Once Create New Template is selected A new window will open. In this window you will configure the columns in the file you are uploading to the available fields in DealerMine. (campaign name, number and VIN are required fields):
Make sure you have the correct Store and Branch Selected. You can make the template available for all store by checking the radio button beside 'All Stores'.
Make sure the File Type is Recall
Upload you CSV File by selecting 'Read Columns From File'
Link the column in you file to the Fields in DealerMine by clicking on the column name and the corresponding available field
Click on the chain with the plus sign beside it to finish linking the column and field together do this for each column you want fetch to display
To unlink a field and column click the red link in template fields
Once you click save it will prompt you to name and describe the template
Importing the Recalls
After you have created the Recall template go to Fetch > Import Mangement >Imports and select Import File
There are three steps to importing a fetch:
Choose the Store and Branch you are importing the recalls on
Select the Recall template or create new
Upload your CSV File
A new window will open displaying a preview of the file with the columns and fields you linked
Once you close out of the preview window you will now see two new steps:
4. Name your import and provide a description
5. Save your Import
If 'Create new customers if necessary' is checked DealerMine will create new customer profiles for any VINs that were Imported that do are not in the database
Users will now be able to see these recalls under the Recall Contact Selection on the call select screen
Recall Contact Selection
As of DealerMine V 9.1.9 Imported Recalls will now display on the call select screen under the Contact Selection 'Recall'
The target options display the number of VINs per recall, the recall number and campaign name/description. To pull Recalls the user will need to select at least one of the target options.
