Service CRM Enhancements & Resolutions

Enhancements

  1. We have improved visibility in the Service Menu set up screen. Now when a Make is selected “All Models selected” will appear in brackets. If some models are then selected, the wording will change and reflect the # of models that have been selected. This was done as some vehicle models share names with other Makes. Example Mitsubishi Lancer and Dodge Lancer

2. We have implemented a brand-new feature across all databases called “Turn Off by Branch”. This feature is now standard DealerMine functionality, but only impacts those databases that have a branched setup. We now allow you to manage contact preferences at the branch level rather than the customer level, so you have more flexibility and control over which branches are allowed to contact customers and by what methods.

  • If a customer calls branch 1, for example, and asks to no longer receive emails, you can turn off email for branch 1 without affecting the other branches' ability to send emails.

  • There is a new drop-down menu under the customer’s name, to identify the branch information being displayed. Simply use the drop-down to change branches if needed.

For customer profiles belonging to a branched store, the customer information screen, will now look as follows:

(Branches will be displayed based on user access)

It's important to be sure that the contact preferences being displayed are the ones for the correct branch based on the customer. Anytime you access a customer profile via an inquiry with a branch attached, we default the profile drop-down to the correct branch.

Note: When using the Search screen, we highly recommend double clicking on the vehicle in the bottom portion of the screen, as this will default the customer profile to the correct branch based on the VIN selected. If you choose the customer from the top portion of the Search screen, you will default to the first branch the user has access to.

Use the drop-down to switch branches if needed.
