Intervals

Intervals are used to add Maintenance Groups to a Maintenance Schedule and to control when the Maintenance Group is presented on the Profile screen. Maintenance Schedules are linked to specific makes and models, and when those makes and models are presented on the Profile screen, the associated Maintenance Schedule displays with the Maintenance Group that matches the interval period: i.e. the vehicle has either reached the set mileage or month and now these Maintenance Groups are recommended for servicing.

How to Add an Interval

  1. Select the Maintenance Schedule to add intervals to

  2. Click Add New Interval under the Options drop down

  3. Choose a Maintenance Group or Package from the Maintenance Operations drop down

      • Note: if the Maintenance Group is part of a package a red indicator will display like the image above.

  4. Choose a service to exclude when the selected product is recommended. This would be more for packages. For example if a package includes an oil change you can exclude oil changes from displaying when the selected product in being recommended.

  5. Start recommending (Optional) - to be used if there is a specific month this service should start being recommended

  6. There are two different ways to have the product populate

      • Option A: Use a continuous pattern - Have the product continuously populate after a certain amount of months or mileage (which ever comes first).

      • Option B: Use Specific Mileage and Month Intervals - If the schedule is not pattern based, key in the Specific Mileage Intervals and Specific Months. The Maintenance Schedule will appear on the screen for every "x" amount of Km/Miles or every "x" amount of months (which ever comes first).

Note: Option A and Option B are OR functions and cannot be used together. If Option A text boxes contain data, and the user selects the radio button for Option B, all information in Option A will be deleted from the text boxes.
