Surveys


In Templates & Batch setup > Texting templates, create a new Texting template once a Contact Type is selected the Survey drop down will display all the surveys for the selected contact type. Once a Survey is sent out in a text it will display on the Survey tab and in Contact hist tab. When the customer submits the survey the results will also display on the Survey tab

How To Create Survey’s

Note: Once a survey has been added to the email template and the first recipient has filled out the information (ie Customer), the Survey can no longer be edited. <<<Don't know if this is still true or not


  1. Log into desired database

  2. In admin screen, click on Templates & Batch Setup

  3. Click on the Survey tab

  4. Click on Options menu and select “Add New Survey”


Step # 1 – Setup


    1. Survey Name field - input the desired name of the survey provided by the dealership

    2. Survey Description field – input description provided by Dealership

    3. Contact Type – Select the appropriate choice

    4. If dealership requests it, check “Display Progress Bar”

    5. Language – defaults to English, change if necessary (Only other option is French)

    6. Themes – Change to whatever dealership requests

    7. Click Save

Step # 2 - Questions

  1. Click options menu and select “Add new question”

  2. Question Title – Input first question provided by dealership

  3. Question Type – Select type of question the dealership desires (Checkbox, MC, Scale, Text)

Note: The following instructions are for creating a Checkbox survey

      1. Input the first level of answer in the first blank field, the second level of answer in the next. To input more options, click the + sign as needed, until all options have been entered. Ex: Excellent, Good, Average, Poor, Very Poor, N/A

      2. The “Other” box is only checked if dealership requests it.

      3. If the dealership requests it, check the “Required Question” Box

  1. Click Save

  2. If more than 1 question is desired, click to highlight the first question, and click the Options menu in Step # 2, and select “Copy Selected Question”

  3. Question Title - Input next question.

  4. Click Save

  5. Repeat steps e – g until all questions have been added

Step #3 - Confirmation

  1. Input whatever message the dealership provides

  2. Click Save

  3. A pop up will appear asking if you wish to preview the survey. Click Yes.

  4. If dealership requests it, check the store notification box, and input the desired failing score.

  5. Click the pencil icon, and select all users who should receive the score notifications.

  6. Click Save

To Set User Access for Surveys


  1. Go into user set up

  2. Click on User Access tab

  3. Find user in list

  4. Check Admin Screen>Templates and Batch Setup>Surveys>Email Alert

  5. Repeat steps 1 -4 for all necessary users

  6. Click Save
