Schedules

Setting up a Maintenance Schedule

  • On the left hand side choose the Store/Branch and select the name of the Maintenance Schedule

  • Enter the Minimum and Maximum year of the vehicle(s) you are setting up the Maintenance Schedule for

  • Triggers (Optional) - If trigger specs for the makes and models the maintenance schedule is being created for are different from the trigger specs set by the store, to overwrite those trigger specs, enter the trigger months here.

  • Mileage Expiry (Optional) - There can be instances where certain makes and models require more than one maintenance schedule; i.e. the schedule could change with the age of the car or with the accumulated mileage. To set an expiry for a schedule being created, enter the mileage that the schedule will expire on

  • After Expiry Use (Only if Mileage Expiry was set) - This drop down allows you to select a new Maintenance schedule that the vehicle will follow once it passes the Mileage Expiry set.

  • Choose the Makes that this schedule will affect

  • Choose the Models this schedule will affect

  • Choose the Driveline this schedule will affect

  • Save

Note: If nothing is checked off for Makes, Models, or Driveline the schedule will catch all. This will ensure that contacts are being made to customers with off makes.

Optional: There are instances where maintenance schedules are customized per certain characters in the VIN.

For example, (for some Makes and Models of Diesel Trucks) there's specific schedules, and the 8th character in the VIN is specific to diesel trucks. To create one of these schedules, click VIN specifications. The Serial Number window is presented on the screen.

      1. Input the serial number or parts of the serial number in the boxes

      2. Click Add to List. The characters populate the selection box below.

      3. To clear the entered characters, click Clear. The box is empty and a new combination can be entered.

      4. To edit a previously entered VIN, click the VIN in the selection box below. The characters populate the boxes above. Edit the VIN and click Update.

      5. To delete a combination, select the VIN and click Delete.

      6. Once work is complete, click Save. The popup clears the screen.

Note: As many combinations as required for the schedule can be entered.
