BDC Release Notes

2022 V 9.4.4

Service Enhancements & Resolutions

Enhancements

  1. We have implemented a new add on service in Online Scheduling for all OEM’s and DMS. Previously, only Hyundai Dealerships that had the Quorum DMS could display recalls in Online Scheduling if they existed for the VIN selected for booking. Now, however, we have subscribed to a 3rd party called Recall Masters, that will allow Dealerships with Online Scheduling to display recalls for any OEM. Please note that, at this time, this only functions for Online Scheduling and has not been implemented to Dealermine.

Resolutions

  1. There was an issue with Online Scheduling, in that it was ignoring the default team set up in E-service configuration. This has been resolved.

  2. There was an issue when users were updating customer information, it was being recorded as updated by the database username (ie: 1234abcd) instead of the actual employees username. This has been resolved.

  3. There was an issue where the Technician and Department were not displaying in the WIP pop up screen for the DMS that support this feature. This has been resolved.

  4. There was an issue where users were still able to view the appointment schedule for an upcoming holiday. This was due to a custom holiday being created for a holiday that was already present on the Holiday set up screen, however the new “i” function was not displaying to show there was a conflict. This has been resolved.

  5. There was an issue where the disposition code on appointments was not holding, when the appointment was re-opened for editing. This has been resolved.

  6. There was an issue where Users were getting logged out while they were working between 5-6 pm AST. This was caused by the new security feature we put in place to log people out after an hour, activating old logic that would log people out after an 8 hour shift. This has been resolved.
