Printing Forms

You will need to print a variety of forms for your daily work. You can access a repository of blank forms from Casebook.

The Forms menu, which is located on the Name Bar throughout the application has two selections:

• • All DCS Forms - contain forms that are partially or totally populated with data from the application

  • Blank Forms - these forms are not populated but can be completed online

All forms can be saved and/or printed.

All DCS Forms - these forms are partially or totally populated with data.  The data is specific to an assessment, case, resource and/or person so the user should be on the appropriate page when requesting a DCS Form.  If the user request a form from a page where no populating forms are available a message stating that  "no data forms are available from this page at this time" will appear. In this case users should go to the Blank Forms menu to see if they can find the form.

Blank Forms - can be accessed from any page that has the Forms button.  Clicking on Blank Forms will bring up a listing of all blank forms available no matter where they are in the system.  They appear alphabetically. 

Note that at the top of the All DCS Forms and Blank Forms pages, based on the user profile, there are categories that users can sort by.  Depending on the user profile three (3) or four (4) category tabs will be available.

• • Blank Forms - all blank forms can be viewed and accessed

  • Data Forms  - populated forms pertinent to the person, assessment, case or resource page where you clicked on "Forms" can be accessed

  • Forms Information - contains a listing of all populating forms and where they can be found in the application. The table contains the Form Number, Form Name, Page Name and Information

  • Search - allows certain users to search for Child Fatality Review (CFR)

Printing Pages in MaGIK - If users would like to print a page(s) from the computer screen the output will be in a format where only the relevant information prints.  Note the printing of the history page below.  Only the information is printed not the side bar filter.
