Retracted Assessments cannot be reversed. This functionality should only be used when you are sure that a duplicate assessment has been found.
In Casebook, there are two reasons an assessment would be withdrawn.
The Central Intake Unit might call for the assessment to be screened out.
The assessment might be a duplicate of another in the system.
Only supervisors and users with an Admin role can withdraw an assessment due to screenout or withdraw an assessment because it is a duplicate.
From an unsubstantiated assessment, click the Actions menu to expand the dropdown.
Select Withdraw this Assessment.
Select the reason for the withdrawal and then click Withdraw.
You will see a message at the top of the assessment stating that the assessment has been withdrawn either due to Duplicate or due to Screenout.
If the assessment was withdrawn because it was duplicated, you need to ensure the following pieces of information are manually copied from the duplicate assessment onto the master assessment.
