In Casebook, there are a number of checklists that have to be completed as a resource is getting licensed and after it is licensed. These checklists cover the initial licensing process, the annual review processes, and changes to the license such as change in address or change in capacity. Casebook will automatically generate checklists and notifications to remind you to complete them.
After a checklist has been started, a Submit for Approval button appears at the bottom of the page. Once the checklist, and any other necessary information, has been completed, you can click this button to submit the checklist to you supervisor for approval. If you attempt to submit the an application for initial licensure without completing the related checklist you will see a validation message that states "the checklist must be completed prior to submission."
Currently, you are unable to enter future dates into checklists. You are also not able to delete checklists. You can add and save information on the checklist as it is completed by the family.
When a checklist is created a blue edit page is accessible to workers.
All checklists can be saved and revisited as the information is time-consuming to compile.

The number of questions completed out of the total number of questions displays behind the name of the checklist in the Checklist card. The screen shot shows that zero out of 24 questions have been completed.
Checklists are automatically generated for Foster Family and Residential Resources. All checklists can be viewed from the Checklists card on the resource's overview page or from the Recommendations & Request card.
One example of an automatically generated checklists are revision checklists. Revision checklists are triggered by changes to key information on a licensed resource. These changes are also highlighted by revision slugs on the resource's overview page. This is an example of a revision slug:
Annual and relicensure checklists are automatically generated and appear on the Checklist card and the Recommendations & Request card. In addition, a series of buttons appears at the bottom of the screen that moves the workflow of which the checklist approval is part of. Those buttons are:
The submit button appears at the bottom of the screen so that licensing workers can submit the application for approval.
After submission, supervisors can either Return for Edits or Accept the checklist.
A checklist becomes closed when a license or license change is accepted. When a checklist is closed all fields on it are disabled from use.
