When searching for Participants in Global Search the following rules determine if a Report is shown and what detail is shown about the Report.
Reports are:
not searchable directly and are only shown when searching for a person
not shown in searches if the user’s Hotline role is No Access
only shown for Participants who are a Victim or Perpetrator and on an Allegation
Reports do not show for Victims who are only on a Mandated Reason
displayed as a link if the Report is the latest unit of work for this person otherwise they are displayed as a count of Reports in which this person is involved
If the Report is the most recent Unit of Work then:
The Report link shows the Report Name if it exists, otherwise it shows the Report ID
Additional Report information is displayed depending on the Report’s current status
In Progress until Hotline Approved - no additional information (other than status)
Hotline approved Reports - Hotline Decision and Report year
County approved Reports - Decision of Screen in, Participant’s roles and Report Date
Details do not display for Restricted Reports
When a Participant is involved in additional Reports they will appear as a count of additional Reports in which this person is involved
If the Report is not the most recent Unit of Work then:
the most recent Case or Assessment is displayed as a link
the count of Reports in which this person is involved is shown
If a Focus Child’s most recent activity is a Case Involvement (ex CHINS) then the Case link displays instead of the Report even though the Report was created after the Case
