Hotline matches Participants (including Reporters) from this Report with other Units of Work and In Progress Reports and displays the results on the History of Involvements card.
Units of Work are grouped by Open Involvements and Closed Involvements.
For a Participant’s history to display:
The Participant must be linked to a Casebook Person who is on an existing Case or Assessment as a:
Victim
Perpetrator
Focus Child
Parent/Caregiver of a Focus Child
Or the Participant must be included as a Participant on another Report
For an In Progress Report to be displayed the Participant must have at least one saved Allegation or Mandated Reason
No History
This message displays if there is no prior history of involvement for any Participant on the Report.
Notes:
If the Participant is a Focus Child on a Case, the most recent Case involvement is displayed
Reports that are Screened in and County Approved are not displayed
The linked Assessment is shown instead
This card updates every time a Participant with a linked Casebook Profile is added or removed from a Report
This card does not automatically update when a linked Casebook profile is added to a new or existing Unit of Work
Refreshing the Report page or adding a new Participant who is linked to a Casebook Person will update this card
Hotline checks Casebook for potential duplicates for all Report Participants and displays the results on the History of Involvements card. Participants are matched with potential duplicate Casebook people who are not already Participants on the Report.
If found, each Participant is displayed with one or more duplicate Casebook people as well as the way each matches the Participant.
Working with Potential Duplicates
To confirm that a person is an duplicate of a Participant,
Select “YES, INCLUDE” from the dropdown next to their name
The dropdown changes to YES, INCLUDE
This person is flagged as an unmerged duplicate
This person’s involvements (if any) are displayed on the History of Involvements card
If this person is not an duplicate of the Participant
Select “NO, NOT A DUPLICATE”
The dropdown changes to NO, NOT A DUPLICATE
This person’s involvements is not displayed to the History of Involvements card
Notes:
selecting “NOT A DUPLICATE” for one potential match does not restrict that Casebook Person from appearing in the History of Involvement (e.g. if they match as an duplicate of another Participant)
Matching Rule: Duplicates match a Participant by any of the following combinations
SSN only
DOB AND Last Name (both need to match)
SSN, DOB AND Last Name (all 3 need to match)
