Home Studies are a document that licensing workers must upload to a resource before submitting it for approval for initial licensure. Home studies also need to be uploaded to a resource when the address on a license is changing.
As a licensing worker, you can print a partially pre-populated home study from the main profile page of the resource. When the document has been completed, you need to upload it back onto the resource's profile page and select the document type as "Home Study". This is one of the things supervisors will check when reviewing the resource.
Go to the main page of any Foster Family Home Resource.
From the Forms menu on the smart bar, select Home Study.
You will be prompted to open or save a Microsoft word document on your computer. Open the file and fill in any missing information.
Scroll to the File Uploads card on the main page of the resource.
Click Edit/Add
Click Upload files
Select the completed home study from your computer. Click Open.
Click Edit.
Change the document type to “Home Study” and enter any other information about the file. If document type is not selected, Casebook will not register the home study as being uploaded and workers will be missing the required piece of information.
