On this page you will learn how to reopen an application for licensure that has been closed.
Inquiries or applications for licensure can be reopened by FCS workers. This is the same workflow you would use to begin a new application for an existing resource.
If the resource has ever been licensed, and the license was closed within the period of initial licensure, then you will not be able to add the Initial Licensure checklist. Instead you will be able to add the Relicensure Review checklist. Once the initial licensure period is closed, you will be able to add the Initial Licensure checklist.
Reopening Closed Inquiries or Applications
Manually Add the Initial Licensure Checklist by clicking Add on the checklist card on the overview page of the resource.

After completing the checklist, submit the application for licensure to your supervisor. If there are waivers, variances, or exceptions, it will need to go to Central Office for approval as well.
From here, the approval process will follow the same flow as initial licensure. Read more about that flow here.
