At times, a Report needs to be edited after being submitted to the Hotline or County Queue. Hotline allows Reports to be Retracted which returns them to their state prior to being submitted.
To Retract a Report
Click the Retract button
The RETRACT modal appears
Enter a Reason or comments (optional)
Click Retract
Notes for Reports Retracted from Hotline Queue:
The Report is put back into the In Progress state and cannot be approved until it has been submitted again to the Hotline Queue
A worker who retracts a Report and who is not the Report’s current assignee becomes the new assignee
Workflow History displays the Report as Retracted as well as who retracted the Report
If a Hotline Supervisor was in the process of editing the Report when it was retracted the worker may need to refresh the Report to see the Supervisor’s edits
When a Report is retracted a warning, in a red box, displays above the Progress Bar:
Clicking the Comments link displays the comment related to the action, if one was entered
