To answer the Income and Assets questions, workers will need to follow several steps.
Save any previous work you've done on the eligibility application.
Expand the Household Members dropdown at the bottom of the Income and Assets section of the Manual Initial Criteria card. The name of each person listed in the menu is linked to their person page.
This will display a list of every household member in any household the focus child is also a member. All household members are possible assistance group members. To determine which household members should be in the assistance group, look in the following places.
On the focus child's Person Profile Page. Click the edit link on the Family Network card to find information about the focus child's relationships and households. Clicking View all Household history will help you see who lived in the household with the focus child and when each person was member.
On the Profile Pages of household members. When you are viewing Household tab of the edit screen on the Family Network card, each member's name is linked to their person profile page.
Toggle back to the eligibility application and use this information to select the correct assistance group. Members can be selected in/out using the check boxes on the Specified Relative section.
Information about Deeming and Allocation can be entered and stored here as well. Imported information about deeming and allocation will be found here. Casebook will not perform any calculations with the numbers stored in these columns.
When the correct assistance group is selected and deeming/allocation information is entered, click save at the bottom of the file.
On the Income and Assets card, click Download CSV
This will open a download window from which you can open the file or save it to your computer. This file will list all income values entered by the FCM, by type, for every possible member of the assistance group.
All possible members of the assistance group will be listed on the CSV file even if some possible members are selected out of the assistance group.
Alternatively, you can find income information by looking on the individual's person profile page on the Employment and Finances Card in the Eligibility Month Income Section. You should look for the eligibility month that the initiating event occurred in. There will be an eligibility month income record for every eligibility application related to the focus child.
