Rabbit

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I am a rabbit, known for my long ears and fluffy tail. I have powerful hind legs that allow me to hop quickly. I live in burrows called warrens that provide shelter and protection. My gestation period is about 28-31 days, and I can have multiple litters each year. My young, called kits, are born blind and hairless. I use my strong teeth to continuously gnaw and keep them from growing too long. My large eyes give me a wide field of vision to detect predators. Thank you visit again.
