Dung Beetle

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I am a Dung Beetle, known for my affinity for dung. My body is robust and equipped with strong legs for rolling dung. I use dung as a food source and a breeding ground. I can roll dung balls much larger than my own body. My lifecycle includes egg, larva, pupa, and adult stages. I have keen senses to locate dung from a distance. My behavior contributes to the control of parasitic populations. Thank you visit again.
