Dryophis Egg

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I am the egg of a Dryophis, commonly known as a vine snake. My shell is leathery rather than hard, providing protection while allowing for gas exchange. I develop through various embryonic stages within the egg. My incubation period depends on environmental conditions like temperature and humidity. I contain all the nutrients needed for the developing embryo. My hatching produces a fully formed juvenile snake ready to begin life independently. Thank you visit again.
