Hello friends welcome to Zoology Museum Shri Shivaji Science college, Nagpur. I am Acris, the cricket frog, known for my chirping call. I’m a small frog commonly found in North America. I live near ponds, marshes, and slow-moving streams. My skin is rough, often with green, brown, or gray coloration. I’m named for my call, which sounds like a cricket’s chirp. I feed on insects, spiders, and other small invertebrates. I’m an excellent jumper, leaping up to 3 feet in a single bound. I play an essential role in controlling insect populations. My call is a familiar sound in wetlands during warm months. Thank you visit again.
