Pennatula

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I am Pennatula, commonly known as the sea pen.I have a colonial structure with a central stalk and feather-like branches.  I play a role in nutrient cycling and sediment stability. I provide habitat for other small marine organisms. I exhibit bioluminescence, producing light in dark environments. I contribute to the biodiversity and ecological balance of my habitat.
