Serpula

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur.I am Serpula, a genus of tube-dwelling polychaete worms.I have a segmented body with bristles on each segment.I inhabit calcareous tubes attached to rocks or other hard surfaces.My tubes provide habitat for other small marine organisms.I exhibit vibrant colors and elaborate feather-like structures for feeding.
