Obelia

Hello friends welcome to museum of Zoology Department, Shri Shivaji Science College, Nagpur. I am Obelia, a genus of colonial hydrozoans. I have a life cycle that includes both polyp and medusa stages. My diet consists of plankton and small particles captured by my tentacles. I provide habitat for other small marine organisms. I exhibit bioluminescence, producing light in dark environments. Thank you visit again.
